Hello, and thanks for visiting our website. My name is Jim Mooney, founder of Striking Image.
I started my martial arts training in 1990 and have enjoyed training and competing in martial arts tournaments since then. In 2005 I decided to mix what I knew best, martial arts and graphic design. Until then, the martial arts school photos I had seen left much room for improvement and I felt that I could create a product that surpassed anything seen before. Now, year after year, parents and school owners constantly say they are glad they found us, and that our photos are the best they've ever seen.
We have also branched out to serve dance and gymnastics schools with the same great response. We strive to keep those compliments coming and are so thankful for everyone who has supported us.

Hey there, my name is Zach Buechler.
I started training in the martial arts in 2000 and have since been honored to travel all over the Northwest and the country competing and performing with the Ernie Reyes Oregon Action Team and their World Action Team.
In 2008 I picked up my first camera and became hooked. Since then I've developed my own style and am excited to be working with Striking Image to bring you some of the most dynamic pictures you've ever seen!
